LEadership in Focus
Ian Reid began making movies at 10 years old using his mom’s mini-DV camcorder, starting with stop-motion animations using Legos. By 13, he was working with friends in Northern Idaho on short-form videos, laying the early groundwork for what would eventually become Distant Moon.
Today
Ian is a filmmaker, creative director, and founder of Distant Moon—a studio dedicated to cinematic storytelling that inspires human flourishing. His work has been featured by clients including Fox Searchlight, Manchester City FC, Universal Music, Capitol Records, Booking.com, the FBI, Stella Artois, and Google.
