FBI – Unexpected Agents

In collaboration with Horne Agency, Distant Moon worked to develop not just the narrative and production approach for this multi-year contract with the Federal Bureau of Investigation – We pitched and developed the very core principle: What if the FBI highlighted the unique interesting and wonderful “unexpected” qualities that make for a fantastic FBI agent. This question posed by our Founder, Ian, became the core foundation for the FBI’s “Unexpected Agents” campaign, for which Distant Moon created three mini-documentaries about different agents and their unique stories and a social media campaign consisting of over 120 unique motion graphics videos that were launched/released over the course of a year.

The campaign increased applications to the FBI and was picked up by journalists from organizations like Fast Company.
