When the Federalist Society asked Distant Moon to produce and direct a short documentary about the life of Frederick Douglass, we immediately said yes. Known as the most photographed American of his day, Douglass was and remains one of the preeminent advocate for civil rights in American history.

Written and directed by Distant Moon teammember, Jesse Eastman, the film not only garnered nearly a hundred thousand views on youtube, but it also won the award for excellence in filmmaking at the Anthem Film Festival.
